Comment	Bg is epistatic to Rg. A single factor has been reported in diploid, tetraploid, and hexaploid wheats. At all levels of ploidy, linkage with Hg has been demonstrated, indicating a common gene on chromosome 1A (Sikka et al, 1961). Mapping information: Bg and Nor9 co-segregated in T. monococcum (Dubcovsky et al., 1996).
