Orthologous series in chromosomes of homoeologous group 4. Vrn-Am2 was located in T. monococcum (Dubcovsky et al., 1998) on chromosome 5Am on the 4Am translocated region. Vrn-Am2 was mapped to the distally located Xwg114-5A - Xwec87-5A region (Shindo et al., 2002).
