WheatIS is an International Wheat Information System to support the wheat research community.
The main objective is to provide a single-access web base system to access to the available data resources and bioinformatics tools including GrainGenes.

GrainGenes links at WheatIS are formated from existing curated data with a goal of quarterly updates that will be announced here.

GrainGenes data at WheatIS consists of the following.

Germplasm - 16,106 lines
QTL - 3925 of which 3408 are new, and the previous 548 have enhanced descriptions
Genes - 3119 curated genes from the Catalog of Gene Symbols for Wheat, in collaboration with Komugi
Genetic maps - 147 of which 56 are new
Physical maps - 12 of which 2 are new
