Phenotype
In DH lines derived from an Igri x Triumph cross, increased flowering time (days to heading) in unvernalized plants, but not in plants that had undergone a vernalization treatment (5 degrees C, 8h light for 6 wk). Model fitting revealed a 1.1d delay in spring-sown plants but none in autumn-sown plants (1).
Property
Recessive
Interactions
Presence of sh allele (and possibly Ppd-H2 Triumph-type allele) mask effect of this Sh2 allele. Allele interacted with eps2 'earliness per se' QTL in autumn-sown and spring-sown field experiments, and also with eps7L (1).
