Comment
Most durum genotypes have a 7.2 kb deletion in intron 1. This allele has a promoter similar to recessive vrn-A1a from Triple Dirk C (Yan et al., 2004) and a large deletion in intron 1 (Fu et al., 2005).
IL369 has a 5.5 kb deletion in Vrn-A1 intron 1 (Yan et al., 2004).
