Previously reported as QGpc-ndsu-6Ba
(Uauy et al. 2006) This allele, fixed in cultivated durum, is a non-functional frame-shift mutation. A similar non-functional allele, or a complete deletion of Gpc-B1, is fixed in hexaploid wheat.
