Remarks	Evaluators: S. Duguid The Quaker nursery at this location was planted very late and some late varieties were just beginning to head. Stands were irregular due to the late planting and dry conditions. Early varieties and selections generally looked better than the later ones, although the late varieties may benefit from the late rains that occurred just prior to our arrival. Most of the varieties and selections will be shorter than usual. Some lodging had resulted from recent heavy rains and wind. Occasional crown rust pustules were observed but no variety was showing a significant amount. We recorded notes on general appearance and tertiary kernels but not on straw stiffness. Tertiary kernel readings were difficult to make due to the late heading date. Plots at this location were generally poor and probably will not provide very useful information.
