Remarks	Evaluators: A. McElroy Situation here was similar to that at Minnesota and most other locations we had visited. There was very little rain for the first month or more after planting. Late rains came in time to benefit the late varieties so they looked much better than the early ones. Except for a scattering of plants with BYD symptoms, diseases appeared to be of little consequence. A few pustules of crown rust were present on susceptible varieties but the rust probably will not develop fast enough to cause significant damage. The Quaker plots were quite uniform and should produce fair yields. Notes were recorded for tertiary kernels, straw stiffness and general appearance.
