Curator Note: The gene 'Gc-Sl2' was renamed 'Gc2-Sl1b' by Tsujimoto (1995). Note that in the Tsujimoto, (1995) paper, the gene names were: 'Gc1-S^1^2' and 'Gc2-S^1^1b', but the Wheat Gene Catalog (2013) uses the small case 'l' rather than the superscript. An EMS-induced Gc-2 mutant was mapped to a wheat-Aegilops sharonensis T4B-4Ssh#1 translocation chromosome (Friebe et al., 2003).
