Abstract
Four germplasm lines of oats (Avena sativa L.) (Reg. no. GP26 to GP29) were released in 1983 by USDA-ARS and the Minnesota Agricultural Experiment Station. The lines have diverse types of resistances to stem rust caused by Puccinia graminis Pers. f. sp. avenae Eriks. and E. Henn. and crown rust caused by P. coronata Cda. and should be useful in breeding rust resistant oat cultivars.
