Abstract	An F2 wheat population, derived from hybrids of the salt-tolerant mutant, RH8706-49, was used for mapping genes. The relative salt tolerance was mapped using microsatellite markers and BSA. Among the 246 pairs of microsatellite primers, the marker Xgwm299 linked to the relative salt tolerance gene, and the genetic distance between them was 5.8 cm. this gene was located on the 3BL
