The cost for preparation of manuscript including typing is paid by the USDA-CSU Cooperative Research Project on Barley Genetic Stock Center Maintenance and Operation and CSU Hatch Project on Barley Genetic Studies.

The entire cost for publication and distribution are paid by American Malting Barley Association (AMBA), Milwaukee.
